VINTAGE "EVANS" GOLD TONE CABOCHON SUNBURST COMPACT
Circa 1940 - 1960
Excellent vintage condition. ( appears to never been used )
This is a stunning compact featuring 13 blue cabochons on the lid which has a sunburst and braid border and trellis pattern.
All gems are securely attached and show no wear.
The mirror has a ring shadow on it from back glue bleed through. The powder well and the powder puff appears to be unused and marked with Evans.
The hinges and clasp work very well.
The music box is in working condition. ( I do not recognize the tune )
This Evans
compact would be a perfect addition for a collector of compacts
or a person who would just like to add a bit of nostalgia to that special area of a room.
