    Description

    Vintage Volupte Mother of Pearl Swinglok Compact Cigarette Case.  It measures 4 1/4 by 3 1/4 inches and is on the heavier side.  Gorgeous mother of pearl on the lid, with brass casing.  Inside is a slot for lipstick, a powder compartment with the puff and mesh, and a compartment, I believe, was originally for cigarettes. I am not sure what is up with the mirror.  It almost looks like a reflective foil.  I do not know if this was how it originally looked.  There are two clips that originally held  a comb. This displays well.  The mother of pearl looks good.  There is some brass wear, which you can see in the photos.  Please view all photos, as I have taken close ups for you to see condition and detail.  This is a beautiful compact.
