GORGEOUS VINTAGE POWDER COMPACT
BLUE ENAMEL WITH BLUE & WHITE BIRDS & FLOWERS
UNUSED SIFTER AND PUFF
GOLDTONE METAL
UNMARKED
VERY GOOD CONDITION
1950's or 1960's
This compact is in very good condition. The mirror is clear and still has a sticker about the powder that can be used. The sifter and powder puff are unused. The blue enamel on the top is almost iridescent, with blue & white flowers and birds decoration that looks handpainted. The decoration feels raised when I run my finger over it. There is some light pitting on the metal, but it does not appear to be corrosion. A beautiful, unmarked compact.
The compact is about 2 3/4 inches in diameter. The only markings are on the paper insert. There are no markings on the compact itself.
