Vintage Tessellated Camel Bone Jewelry Box Middle Eastern Copper Sputnik Space

Up for auction is this vintage carved tessellated camel bone jewelry box lined with blue soft felt on the interior.
It has a beautiful inlaid copper design which looks like a Sputnik / space age symbol with rope spikes with round balls on the ends.
I think this is Middle Eastern or Egyptian.
In great condition, lid has a latch and opens and closes easily.
Measures 5.5” inches long, 3.2” inches wide and 2” inches high (14 cm, 8.1 cm, 5.1 cm).
Would make a fantastic display piece and jewelry / trinket box to use, fine addition to a collection, or a great gift!
