Vintage Stratton Wedgewood Black Basalt Jasperware Powder Compact

Vintage Stratton Wedgewood (?) Powder  Compact With Black Basalt Jasperware (?) Cameo on Goldtone. Estate find. Depicts scene with woman riding chariot, horses. Could be  mythology goddess Aurora (Eos),  goddess of the dawn, riding across the sky. Compact is marked Stratton inside on the powder lid and  marked made in England above the mirror. Width is approx 2 7/8 inches. There is some wear around the edge of the black material and wear on the goldtone bottom. The compact closes well. The powder area does not lock down, may be missing a clasp. The puff is probably not original, it is as found.  See pics. Please be sure that you want this item, as there are no returns.
