Vintage Pygmalion 2 Tone Gold Globe Compact Circa 1950's

Description

Up for sale a vintage Pygmalion two tone gold globe compact from the 1950's.  The continents are highlighted in more of an antique gold and the oceans are a lighter satiny gold color.  The globe compact measures 6.75" in circumference  x 2.15" in diameter.  When you open the compact, it reveals a bright gold interior.  The lid of the powder compartment is engine turned.  Inside the powder compart is a puff labeled Pygmalion and below the mirror is the mark "Foreign" as Pygmalion is a British company and this compact must have been imported into the United States.  Overall good condition with normal signs of age, wear and use with some toning to the gold surface and a piece of the interior mirror is missing.
