    Up for auction is this lovely Estate WWII Hingeco Sweet Heart Brass Powder Compact purchased at a recent Estate Sale. Clearly Signed Hingeco. Hingeco made these powder compact in the 1940's they were made for Officer's wives that was in the Military such as the Navy Marines. Most of the compacts had a Navy or Marine Emblem on the small heart but this one is just plain and we can not find any markings that it ever had an emblem on it. It is brand new and never used before. The front is a smooth satin shiny finish and the back has a lizard finish. On the back there are hinges on each side at total of 8, four on each side they are in excellent working condition! The front has a push in button to open and it is also in excellent working condition! The compact open with out difficulty and close tight.
