Vintage Gold Tone Masonic Eastern Star Elgin American Compact

Description

This vintage brass or gold tone engraved style ladies compact appears to be unused and features the emblem of The Order Of The Eastern Star on the front. It does have some slight issues due to age and some that appear to be original to the piece so please read complete details below and review photos thoroughly. Thank you and enjoy!
Does include miscellaneous abrasions/scratches/marks on the front lid and some blotching/dull finish on the back side...all of which is nearly impossible to capture in photo or see with the naked eye unless the lighting is just right.  The mirror also has some marks on the backside that I assume are original to the piece as it doesn't appear to have ever been removed or replaced. No breaks or repairs that I can find. The applicator logo imprint appears to be incomplete. The compact doesn't appear to have ever been used but this isn't my area of expertise so please review photos carefully and closely.
