This is a vintage December 1947 issue of TRAINS Magazine. This being a XMAS issue, there are some Christmas ads but also plenty of pictures of especially steam locomotives. Nice ad on the inside back cover for the Milwaukee Road Olympian Hiawatha and on the back cover for the New York Central.
The spine is complete but becoming loose while the bottom of the front cover has some paper tears. I have supplied plenty of pictures for your inspection of some of the 70 pages in this magazine.
