Up for sale is this lot of Sixteen (16x) Total # of Eggs of my Serama Bantam fertile hatching chicken eggs.
NOTE: this auction is for EGGS and not LIVE birds. The photos are representative of my birds from which the eggs come from. Colors, sizes, etc will vary and I cannot guarantee items as my flock isn't separated in individual cages.
I do NOT ship live birds (its too rough of them).
PLEASE research hatching serama eggs prior to purchasing as I am NOT responsible for hatching as numerous factors will determine hatchability and serama eggs are harder than normal eggs to hatch to live. I have definitely found that placing them under a broody hen delivers much better hatches than in a standard incubator so please know that prior to purchasing.
I do NOT promise extra eggs but will include them if available.
I continually check fertility by incubating my own eggs.
Again, please read the many great articles on the internet about hatching eggs. Back Yard Chickens has a great article on incubating shipped eggs. Once you receive your eggs, please let them settle several hours or overnight, big end up, before putting them in your already running incubator.
Priority mail insured, so if you receive a damaged box, please show it to the post master...Or take a picture of it and send it to me so I can file a claim.
I hand wrap each egg in bubble wrap or foam and place them in an egg carton surrounded by packing peanuts. I have had very few eggs broken by shipping this way.
No guarantees on viability once they reach you due to postal handling
. Usually they are fine. I have lots of good reports on the hatches from eggs I sell on Ebay. Please leave feedback based on my performance UPON RECEIPT OF EGGS. Fresh eggs will be sent and they will be well packaged. If there will be any delay in getting them to you, I will contact you. I will not sell eggs that are more than three days old. Priority mail has worked out best so far.
I ship NEXT DAY when purchased Sunday-Thursday if eggs are purchased by 5p Central Time Zone. I don't typically ship on Saturdays so any eggs purchased Thursday after 5p - Sunday will likely go out Monday but I may ship sooner if I go into town.
Box will be marked, "Fragile" and "Glass". This does not necessarily make the postal employees treat them better but I have found marking them as "eggs" makes them arrives in worse condition. The post office may also x-ray the box OR have delayed delivery - both of which are out of my control.
Happy to write your name and phone number on the box and request a hand pickup but it is up to you.
