    Description

    This is a set of 4 Jeanette Glass Iris and Herringbone pattern small plates.  They are bread and butter plates in iridescent peach carnival shade.  The plates measure about 5 5/8 inches in diameter and weigh 6 ounces.  They are circular with a lovely modified scalloped shape along the edge.  The herringbone background frames the iris design and extends over the ridge for a pretty edging on the interior of the rim.  This gives the plate a striking shimmer effect, plus it feels nice along the bottom.
    These plates were made in the 1950's and have been stored with care as part of a cherished collection.  They have not been used over the past 60+ years as they were more like treasures than kitchenware.  They are in excellent condition.
