    Description

Antique Sandwich Glass "Princess Feather & Diamond" Amber Amethyst Glass Dish, The Boston & Sandwich Glass Co., Sandwich, MA., c. 1830-45. This small Sandwich glass dish is a beautiful and early lacy glass example in an unlisted color. This is a mix of an amber color and a light amethyst color. This could have happened from changing between these two colors during mass manufacture. This color is a kind of like a smokey amethyst color if you are familar with jewelry you may know of this stone. This is a small and beautiful flint glass colored dish in the pressed "Princess Feather & Diamond" pattern. This dish is listed in "A Guide To Sandwich Glass Pressed Tableware," by Barlow and Kaiser, plate # 1033 where it booked for 0 in blue glass back in 1993. I offer this Sandwich glass dish with no reserve and a Buy It Now. DIMENSIONS: This dish is 7/8" H. x 4 5/8" Dia.. CONDITION: The condition is good with an underfill of the pattern on the rim. This is an in-the-making flaw from underfilling the mold or having some spill out during manufacture. SHIPPING: Buyer pays actual shipping costs based upon the 15 ounces weight and postal zone. Please use the shipping calculator within this listing to calculate postage within the continental United States. This includes professional packing with USPS delivery.
