    , a 1930s WPA project. The 37-page spiral bound 8 1/2 x 11" booklet, is printed on 60# paper. A vinyl sheet protects the front cover.
    The 1888 history covers the early development of this area and includes bios of prominent citizens.
    Topics covered include:
    Location; Howard Moore and other early settlers; Formation of the county; An early hanging and another criminal case; Names of early officials; the town of Kennett -- courthouse, newspaper and lodges; Other Communities --  Clarkton, Malden, Hornersville and Cotton Plant; Attorneys; and
