The first part of the booklet contains a history of the Ozark area, especially as it relates to Arkansas, two brief histories of the county, and bios of leading citizens. The WPA section has a small map, a section on Ozark folklore, and tour stops at the North Fork of White River, Mountain Home, Calico Rock, Cotter, and Heber Springs with historic highlights.
