Vintage Estee Lauder Youth-Dew Solid Perfume Compact.
For the perfume vessel collector, this vintage Estee Lauder solid compact of the fragrance, Youth Dew, is in excellent vintage condition.
There is no remarkable wear or loss of gilt to the golden coiled-rope case, and no observed scratches to the faux turquoise lozenge on top. The hinge is intact and only slightly loosened, less than expected for age. Clasp is intact and closes tightly. The solid perfume inside is intact but diminished with use and altered by time (shrinkage from edges and of course the scent is degraded).
The original label is intact and appears to read: "Estee Lauder, Youth Dew, Solid Perfume, Net Wt .18oz, Made in USA, Dist. N.Y., N.Y. 10022"
