Hard to Find old Vaseline or Canary colored glass ... especially in
this
pattern, color, and condition!!
Possibly manufactured by Boston Sandwich(??), and d
ating to the 1845s-1870s, this
Beautiful
little piece is 3 3/8" tall, with a hexagonal rim diameter of  2 1/4".   This piece has Beautiful Canary color and
Extraordinary pattern definition around the body and rayed pattern on the underside that
Greatly
accentuates this Toothpick or Match Holder!!
When lightly tapped on the rim, this has a nice "Ting" that certainly indicates flint era and age.
Under a Black Light ... this piece fluoresces Brilliantly!!
Other than a smooth
small
chip on the base rim, this piece is in Excellent condition, with no cracks or staining.  If you are a collector of
Hard-to-Find
pre-Victorian colored glass,  Toothpick or Match Holders,
or of uranium colored Vaseline Canary glass, and would like this
