Beautiful Vintage Asian Chinese Wood with Stone Figures Jewelry Trinket Box

We are happy to offer this beautiful vintage Chinese Jewelry  / Trinket box.
Please note that similar styles of this jewelry box are still being made, but they have new looking hardware and lack some of the patina of this piece. Please view photos and compare before buying.
The top of the box has a flush mitered frame with a molded edge detail and a single recessed panel.  The panel is black with some painted trees, birds and fencing. Applied to the scene are 2 figures, carved from different colored stone, that some may refer to as jadeite.
The front of the box has 2 panels done in the same style as the top, each having a single stone figure. When the lid is open he front can drop down to access the interior.
Inside the center of the lid is a mirror, with jewelry storage on either side. Behind the drop front are 3 drawers with recessed pulls carved into the drawer fronts. The section above the drawers has a removable pierced carved section with storage areas behind it. The storage areas are accented with a red velour type cloth.
The sides and back of the cabinet are plain with drop handle on each side. Each corner has small shaped feet with a small bead detail running around the front and sides.
This piece does show some signs of age and wear (see photos), but is in overall very good condition.
