This high quality petrified wood cab is Eocene (approx. 40 Million years old) in age from the Yegua formation in Texas.
This piece is part of a petrified tropical hardwood species and shows fossilized rot ("pocket rot"). Each section of rot has been replaced by agate which fluoresces under black light. Polished to 10,000.
