    Early days in Newton and Searcy Counties, AR, are recalled in this 11" x 8.5" spiral-bound booklet, comprised of excerpts from Goodspeed Brothers:
    A Reminiscent History of The Ozark Region
    (1886),
    Arkansas, A Guide to the State,
    a 1941 WPA publication, and other sources.
    The 44-page booklet is printed on 8.5" x 11" paper. A vinyl sheet has been added to protect the front cover.
    The first part of the booklet contains a history of the Ozark area, especially as it relates to Arkansas, two brief histories of the county, and bios of leading citizens.  The WPA section has a small map, a section on Ozark folklore, and tour stops at  Western Grove, St. Joe, Buffalo River Camp, Marshall, Harriet, Leslie, Ozarkadia Park, Diamond Cave, and Jasper with historic highlights.
