a 1941 WPA publication, and other sources. The 39-page booklet is printed on quality paper. A vinyl sheet has been added to protect the front cover.
The first part of the booklet contains a history of the Ozark area, especially as it relates to Arkansas, two brief histories of the county, and bios of leading citizens.  The WPA section has a small map, a section on Ozark folklore, and a tour stop at Yellville with historic highlights.
