    Description

Antique Jefferson / Northwood Vaseline Canary Yellow Glass Beaded Drapes Ruffled Crimped with an Opalescent Rim Four-Toed Console Bowl.  It is a beautiful and delicate Early American Pressed Glass bowl c. 1900s.  This four footed canary yellow opalescent bowl has a pattern name of "beaded drapes".  This attractive pattern is attributed to Northwood Glass and Jefferson Glass and was introduced in 1905.  The condition is very good with a couple small issues.  There is a chip off the bottom of one foot, so i
t does have a tiny wobble because of that, but it sits level on the other 3 feet.  The
inside at the very bottom has just a tiny bit of glass fog.  Otherwise overall there are no cracks, chips or chiggers at the edge rim or anywhere else on the bowl.  It is amazing that it has survived over a hundred years and still in this remarkable condition.  This bowl is very reactive and glows brightly under UV/black light and
would make a wonderful addition to your collection.
It measures 8 1/2" Dia x 3 1/4" T.  See all photos for details of condition and as part of the description.  This item will be carefully packaged for shipping.  Thank you for your consideration.
