ANTIQUE NEW ORLEANS "BELMORE CLUB PURE RYE WHISKEY BLOCH BROS" WOODEN BOX 1915

Description

It is 12" x 14" x 19 1/2".  I found this box in an old store attic in Chackbay, La. about 40+ years ago.  Other than brushing and washing off the dust, nothing has been done to it.  The box is in very good condition except for the one old repair to the split on one side and the "Pure Rye" color is a bit weak.  It is a machine dove-tailed and nailed box.  There is other wear and stain.  When the box is wet, the paint is much more bold.  I have never seen another box like this one.  The box weighs 10 lbs and shipping won't be cheap.
