    BEAUTIFULLY  PATTERNED  &  BRILLIANTLY  COLORED!!   Canary Vaseline  ... ** KNIGHTS  OF  LABOR **   BREAD  PLATE!!

    Hard to Find old Vaseline or Canary colored glass ... especially in
    this
    pattern, color, and condition!!
    Manufactured in the 1880s, possibly by Central Glass, this
    Beautiful
    oval piece is 11 3/4" from top to bottom and 8 3/4" wide.  This Novelty Plate represents the Unity of Labor with a Beautiful sailing ship; a harvester with
    sickle
    and wheat;  a U.S. Mail (USM embossed on the railroad car) Train; and a horse around the outer rim.  The inner oval band is pressed with "UNITED WE STAND   DIVIDED WE FALL" and the inner oval is pressed with a worker (who looks like Abe Lincoln!!) holding a hammer,  a Knight with sword shaking hands, and the words "KNIGHTS OF LABOR".  This piece has
    Excellent Clarity of glass and
    Extraordinary
    pattern definition that
    Greatly
    accentuates this RARE Bread Plate!!.....Appearing to have been little used!!
    In SUPERB condition, there are no chips, cracks, or staining.
