    here are no chips or repairs; there "may" be a heat check in the top of the handle that attaches to the body, but I believe that it's more of a smudge when applied; the glass is not refractive, so it doesn't--to me--look like a heat check (and I've seen many!!). The top sits a little off-kilter but could probably be adjusted to fit properly; the spring on the lid works.   If you are a collector of
