In other words the venerable 1HZ 4.2 liter Diesel engine that powers this beauty is essentially like new, as are the H55F 5 speed manual transmission and transfer case. These are driven very few miles in their lifetime and well-maintained. This one comes with rare power steering. Most of these former fire trucks did not have power steering. All of the Morita fire truck equipment is there still and operational. It has a power take off unit to drive the water pump in back and the lights, siren, and loudspeaker all work. You can leave it as is for an interesting collector's vehicle, or remove the fire fighting equipment in back, install a bed, or a ute tray and make it an overland rig like few others.
