    Description

Montana's Most Trusted Name in Metals for Almost 50 Years!
In 1976, Robert Powell Smith was made the U.S. ambassador to Ghana. This sterling silver plate was presented to him, most likely, on December 17th of that same year. The plate was given to him by individuals on behalf of the governor of Ghana.
This piece is highly unique and represents a small, but intimate piece of history. It weighs over ten troy ounces and is made of sterling silver, so beyond its historic value, it also contains no small amount of precious metal value. It is a lovely plate, and we hope it finds its way into the collection of someone who will appreciate and care for it.
